Adam James Cohen, LMFT is a licensed psychotherapist in private practice in San Francisco, CA, where he specializes in supporting LGBTQ+ adolescents and adults. He received his MA in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in 2015. He has developed a clinical framework for the LGBTQ+ experience of Second Adolescence of which he trains other clinicians and uses clinically to support queer adults on their path towards healing and liberation from internalized and systemic anti-queerness. He is the host of the Second Adolescence podcast and is currently completing a book on what Second Adolescence is and how queer people can move through it.
